Eric Reveno

All Vote No Play Co-Founder & Senior Advisor

As a career college basketball coach, Eric Reveno has spent his life working passionately to help college players to be the best they can be. Along the way at Stanford, University of Portland, and Georgia Tech he has helped build some championship teams but he is most proud of the young men he has helped develop and the diverse “huddles” he helped grow into tightly bonded families.  Currently the Associate Head Coach at Oregon State, he started the #AllVoteNoPlay movement which rippled through college athletics inspiring programs and leagues to cancel play on Election Day.  The movement resulted in historic NCAA legislation and Coach Reveno hopes coaches do all they can to engage their teams in the most basic civic duty of voting.

“Initially, ‘All Vote No Play’ was just a hashtag thought of at the kitchen table. It was sparked by student-athletes who felt like we all could do more. However, it quickly evolved into a movement thanks to the tireless dedication and visionary leadership of thousands of college coaches. Joe Kennedy played a crucial role in those early days by channeling the energy and inspiration into organizing ‘All Vote No Play’ and making a real impact. Today, he remains the ideal candidate to take AVNP to the next level, creating an organization that fosters stronger teams and better citizens in athletic departments across the country.”
