ABOUT THIS PROJECT

The "Rhody Tour" is a project where a group of six athletes go to local urban High Schools to promote the resources their city brings and University of Rhode Island offers to better support their transition into their career or university journeys. By bringing together various organizations to offer valuable resources to both students and their families, alongside University of Rhode Island athletes who can inspire and motivate them, we aimed to make a lasting difference in their lives.

AMYAH'S WHY

My why for joining the fellowship and participating is because of my desire to help my community. I really enjoy helping others and investing into our future generation. Being an Engaged Athlete Fellow means that I can be a light to the community in currently in and have a community backing be up through the fellowship!
