Myself along with members of the Howard men’s basketball team are leading an initiative to support middle-school students in Washington, D.C. Focusing on the Cardozo Middle School, the project aims to address the complex factors that contribute to chronic absenteeism and truancy. Through mentorship and collaboration with the school, the team aims to create a model that strengthens academic stability and youth development. Ultimately seeking to empower and build connections with the students in DC.
