Davey is developing new pathways for student-athletes to pursue careers in financial services. Research consistently shows that student-athletes possess resilience, discipline, and leadership traits that translate exceptionally well into high-performance industries like finance. His project focuses on building a structured talent pipeline that expands access to professional opportunities by addressing real obstacles athletes face — including rigid recruiting timelines, demanding practice schedules, and limited flexibility for traditional internships. By reducing these barriers, Davey aims to strengthen long-term mobility and professional development for student-athletes alongside and beyond their athletic careers. As part of this effort, he plans to partner with Consello, a dynamic advisory and investment firm co-founded by Tom Brady and partnered with Serena Williams, Pau Gasol, and other world-class leaders.
