ABOUT THIS PROJECT

My project was focused on expanding access to finance careers for student-athletes, a group in high demand by firms that value their work ethic, discipline, and leadership, yet often disadvantaged by rigid recruiting timelines. By connecting student-athletes with firms intentionally building athletic talent pipelines and hosting leadership and mentorship panels with finance professionals, the project expands access for student-athletes already balancing intense demands, allowing them to turn potential into opportunity.

DAVID'S WHY

Being an Engaged Athlete Fellow allows me to use my platform as an athlete to create meaningful, positive change alongside a talented and welcoming community of fellows and advisors. The program empowers us to turn what we care about into real action, rather than just good intentions. It provides a tangible way to pursue impact that can sometimes feel out of reach otherwise.
