A conference wide initiative, NEC Attacks Cancer seeks to fundraise and raise awareness for the HEADstrong foundation, whose mission is to improve the lives of those affected by cancer. Serving as the NEC SAAC Co-Chair & DI SAAC Rep, Diego Diaz has enacted this across the NEC. Within his own FDU community, the fellow is planning to host dedication games to fundraise for the organization. More importantly, his project entails hosting an Iron Knights day, which is a day dedicated to four to five children who are battling cancer and giving them the Knights Royal treatment.
