ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Partnering with the HEADstrong foundation, I've helped launch the NEC Attacks Cancer campaign, a conference wide-initiative that support the organization's mission of improving the lives of those impacted by cancer through financial, residential, and emotional support. Our goal is to fundraise across the conference through dedication games and SAAC events, raising awareness and support for the cause. On my own campus, we was hosting an Iron Knights Day that is centered around pediatric cancer and giving these kids a special experience.

AMELIA'S WHY

Being a student-athlete has provided me with a platform that allows me to use my voice and evoke change. The opportunity to be part of the Engaged Athlete Fellowship represented a chance to transform that platform into meaningful action within my community.
