“Swim for Life” is a free, beginner swim and water safety clinic serving children from low-income families in Raleigh, North Carolina. The clinic is run in partnership with Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N), a nonprofit dedicated to reversing the effects of poverty through mentoring, education, and community development. N2N assists with participant recruitment and family outreach to ensure the program reaches children who lack access to swim education. The project provides essential water safety skills while fostering confidence and inclusion in a supportive environment. Through this initiative, Swim for Life addresses critical gaps in public health and youth development equity.
