ABOUT THIS PROJECT

This past fall, I used every avenue available to get one message out: Vote. Through tabling, posters, and weekly Zoom meetings, I worked alongside administrators, students, and athletes to promote a culture of civic engagement. No matter the political division, an individual's vote is their voice, and everyone is entitled to that right. 



KATIE'S WHY

Having the opportunity to play the sport I love and be a role model has always been an aspiration of mine. In working with The Team, I have been able to achieve that aspiration as it has allowed me to use my platform to combine my passion for civic engagement with sports.
