ABOUT THIS PROJECT

In a partnership with a local elementary school, we brought UW student athletes to teach sports skills and play with the kids at their recess. We inspired the kids to stay in school, stay active and find passion in sport while showing student-athletes how they can use their platform to inspire youth.

MAEVE'S WHY

It’s important to me to give back to the community I’m a part of and share the opportunities I’ve been given to others. Being a fellow means bringing the best version of myself to my sport and be a role model to all the other dreamers.
