Mikayla Paquette

Mikayla Paquette graduated from Tufts University in May 2025 with a BA in Civic Studies and Sociology while competing on the varsity women's basketball team. Mikayla's involvement with civic life on campus took many forms; she was a Tisch Scholar, Civic Life Ambassador for Athletics and served as Student Senator. 

As a member of The Team's inaugural cohort, Mikayla launched Community Hoops, an organization dedicated to empowering the next generation of basketball players through skill development, mentorship by current collegiate players, and community-building activities in Medford/Somerville and South Africa.

She is a recipient of the Campus Compact Newman Fellowship and was inducted into the Tufts Honos Civicus Society. Mikayla has also been recognized by Forbes Magazine and is a 2024 recipient of the Billie Jean King Youth Leadership Award.
