ABOUT THIS PROJECT

My project was a 2 part domestic violence awareness campaign, the first half was a clothing a women's supply drive and the second half was a panel which includes a domestic violence awareness shelter employee, an attorney who specializes in domestic violence cases, and a police officer. My goal was to spread awareness amongst college students of the dangers and signs of domestic violence amongst specifically college students.

I was looking for an opportunity to increase my civic engagement and get involved on campus, and The Team pushed me to do that and gave me many opportunities to do this.
