ABOUT THIS PROJECT

To make an impact in the community surrounding Stonehill, I was hosting a field-day event on our campus. I would invite different youth groups from around the area with complex health needs. We are going to have a fun-filled day where the kids can try different sports and be part a team environment that they may not normally have not have the opportunity to experience.

AMELIA'S WHY

It is a privilege to play ice hockey at the collegiate level and I am proud to be able to use my platform to make a difference in my surrounding community. The fellowship has given me the opportunity to grow as a person and be more engaged. By collaborating with my teammates and other athletes we can make a positive impact and empower the next generation.
