Design, plan, and execute a civic engagement project of your choosing for the 2025-2026 school year. This project could range from a sports camp for youth, voter registration drives, volunteering in your local community- the possibilities are endless!

Looking to execute a civic engagement project on your campus but need advice? Get paired up with a student who has been through one of The Team's programs before who can help you brainstorm and make real change on your campus.
Free pizza and a front row seat at the All-Star Meeting
Get free pizza and a front row seat to The Team’s Virtual All-Star meeting this Fall (past speakers include Stephen Curry in 2022 and Natasha Cloud in 2024). In 2024, we had 7,000+ participants and 122 watch parties across 34 states, providing 1200+ pizzas.
Lead an All Vote No Play Day event
As part of being an Ambassador for The Team, you are expected to plan and execute an All Vote No Play Day event on your campus. All Vote No Play is an annual legislation passed by the NCAA in 2020, where all teams choose a day off from practice and play to dedicate to civic engagement between Election Day and 2 weeks prior. Teams and athletic departments can use this day to vote, celebrate civics, and host events!

At The Team, we firmly believe that you are more than just your sport and you have the capacity to make lasting positive change on your campus and beyond. The Team's programming will help you begin to build out your resume, from adding your role on LinkedIn and your resume, to receiving professional development opportunities throughout the year.
Stay in the know about job and NIL opportunities
We will send you regular emails with resources to help you plan your events and execute your project, along with professional development, job, and NIL opportunities. You will also have access to our broad network of civically engaged athletes and professionals.
End of year certification and social media highlight
As a celebration of your hard work, if you achieve the goals of an Ambassador, you will receive a certification recognizing your accomplishments. We will also highlight your work in one of our many social media platforms.
Swag Packages
Who doesn't love swag? We will send a swag package to help you host events on campus that you can utilize throughout the year.
